Curriculum Review Held

Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Shamsad Mortuza organized an Academic Retreat on Curriculum Review on 24 August 2019 at ULAB Permanent Campus Auditorium. A total of 35 faculty members from different departments attended the workshop. The objective of this workshop was to review the existing GED curriculum; the findings of which will be presented to the Academic Council and Syndicate. The program started with the welcome speech from Professor H M Jahirul Haque, Vice Chancellor while Professor Jude William Genilo, Director of IQAC, shared the procedure on curriculum review from the IQAC perspective. Professor Shamsad Mortuza, Pro Vice Chancellor talked about the Liberal Arts curriculum. The whole day workshop was divided into four parts: (i). secondary to tertiary level education, (ii). university core courses, (iii). optional and minor declaration, and (iv). essential skills.
